Some people had liver problems on TRIKAFTA
Others experienced liver-related side effects on TRIKAFTA, ranging from elevated liver labs to drug-induced liver injury. These, too, sometimes required adjusting or stopping the medication.
ALYFTREK is new — and we want to learn how it’s tolerated
ALYFTREK is a newer CFTR modulator. People who didn’t tolerate TRIKAFTA may try ALYFTREK next. RETRIAL closely monitors mental health, cognition, and liver health as people start it for the first time, so we can learn whether and how those side effects show up again.
